Annual meting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology organized in the U.S.A. is the great event, occurring every yearly and every aspiring oncologist will dream to be there in the meeting. All landmark studies and innovations happening in the field of Oncology are presented on this global platform. This year following this meet in U.S.A., Event of Post ASCO 2009 Education Book Presentation is organized on Saturdays,13 th and 29 th June, 2009 in the Cama Hall with the support of the GCRI and the GCS. The event started with lightening of the lamp ceremony by Hon. Director Dr. Pankaj M. Shah, Dep. Directors Dr. Kirti M. Patel and Dr. Shilin N. Shukla, Dr. Bharat J. Parikh, Dr. Devendra D Patel and Dr Harsha P. Panchal. The glimpses of virtual meeting were shown before the session. Seventeen presentations were made by the resident staff of the various specialties. The faculty also participated actively. The live tele -transmission of the event was made to Shere- Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar. |
