GCRIans are proud of their Hon. Director Dr. Pankaj Shah , who received the prestigious Dr. B. C. Roy Award-2005 as an “Eminent Medical Person” . He was honoured by Her Excellancy, President of India , Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil on July 01, 2008 at New Delhi .

The Medical Council of India instituted Dr. B.C. Roy National Award Fund in 1962 to perpetuate his memory to recognize the best talents in encouraging the Development of specialities in Different branches in Medicine:

3. Eminent Medical Person.
4. Eminent person in Philosophy
5. Eminent person in Arts.
