Bhabhatron II was inaugurated on 18th March,2010 in the department of Radiotherapy to overcome tremendous load of patients on radiotherapy. It is an indigenous machine equipped with real time computerized control console with power back up of eight hours for the entire unit ensuring uninterrupted treatment. CCTV enables to observe and monitor the entire treatment process closely. Bhabhatron II comes with several in built features that ensure a complete safety of the patient during the treatment. At present about 100 patients are treated on this unit per day.
