Department of Transfusion Medicine collects blood from voluntary and replacement donors in the hospital and outside the hospital by arranging the outdoor blood donation camps. Blood grouping of the donors and patients is done and blood is supplied to the patients after cross-matching. Department is well equipped with all the modern equipment like gel-technology, cross-matching, apheresis procedures, blood eradication and leukodepletion of components.
