A 45 yrs female presented at GCRI on 06-04-09 with abdominal distension and pain in abdomen since 6 months. O/E her vitals were normal and pallor+. On abdominal examination there was huge mass from pelvis to Xiphisternum. On per-vaginal examination uterus was felt separately from mass which was higher up& POD was smooth. USG showed large separated cystic lesion extending from pelvis upto xiphisternum, uterus normal with minimal ascites. Her CA-125 was 279U/lt, preoperative fitness obtained and she was posted for surgery. |
